For the festival Into the woods in Amersfoort, Daniel Kuiper and I made a design where we did not want to hide or change the energy of the festival. But where the visitor could experience the festival without being completely isolated from the festival.

Being in the forest was the main thought. For many the forest is unknown territory at night. Here we wanted to give shelter, but not protection and concealment. The festival provides a safe environment on itself. The design is reminds of an archetypal form of a house. But with a twist. None of the wall is closed so the interaction with the festival will remain intact. The user, in particular the experience of the user are the most important.
